What makes a route a good convertible route?
Three things: open sky above you (views and variety instead of kilometres of forest or sound barriers), back roads without motorway so the roof can stay down, and stops that carry the drive, from terrace to viewpoint. We measure the motorway share of every route; curves and atmosphere come from our curation for now, and from engine measurements and verified reviews later.
What are the best months for top-down driving in the Netherlands?
The season runs roughly from April to October; May to September is finest for most routes on this list. With seat heating and a wind deflector you drive open far more often than the calendar suggests.
Are these convertible routes free?
